Shipping Policy
Temporary Suspension of Postal Services to the USA
26 August 2025
Australia Post has temporarily suspended some postal services to the United States and Puerto Rico.
As a result, Tara Treasures is unable to ship orders to the USA until further notice.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding.
Australia Post has advised services are expected to resume on or before Thursday, 25 September 2025.
Shipping at a Glance
Cut-off Time:
- Orders placed before 1pm (AEST) → shipped same day
- Orders placed after 1pm → shipped next business day
Domestic Shipping (Australia):
- Under $120: $9.95 flat rate
- $120+: Free shipping
- Methods: Sendle (metro), Australia Post Standard (regional/PO Box), Australia Post Express
Express Shipping:
- Get your order 1 to 3 business days in most metro areas.
- Flat rate from $9.95 (orders $120+)
- Perfect for gifts or last-minute orders
International Shipping:
- Shipped via Australia Post International (tracking included)
- Import duties, taxes & fees are the responsibility of the customer
Tracking:
- All orders come with tracking. You’ll receive a tracking link once your order is shipped

Delivery Standards (Estimated)
We ship from Melbourne, Australia. All orders are sent with Authority to Leave (ATL) by default, meaning the courier can leave your parcel without a signature.

Delivery times are estimates and don’t include packing/processing time. Weather, peak seasons, or carrier delays may extend delivery times.
International Shipping
We ship worldwide using Australia Post International (with tracking).
Please note:
- Customs duties, import taxes, and fees are the responsibility of the customer.
- Delays may occur if your parcel is held by Customs.
- Unfortunately, we cannot cover these charges or guarantee delivery timeframes once the parcel leaves Australia.
Processing & Tracking
- Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment is confirmed.
- You’ll receive an email confirmation and tracking link once your order is shipped.
Shipping Restrictions
- We ship to both residential and commercial addresses.
- PO Boxes are accepted via Australia Post.
Damaged, Missing, or Lost Packages
- If your package arrives damaged, please contact us immediately at sales@taratreasures.com
- If your parcel hasn’t arrived, please check common safe drop spots or with neighbours first. If still missing, contact us and we’ll help track it down.
