With its soft curves and gentle presence, Dhangal the Dugong is ideal for storytelling, puppet play, and cultural learning centred around ocean life and the spiritual significance of dugongs to Torres Strait Islander peoples. Each puppet is carefully handmade from New Zealand wool and coloured with non-toxic azo-free dyes.

Crafted by women artisans in Nepal under fair trade conditions, this puppet supports ethical production and empowers artisan communities through meaningful work.
